Hi, we are trying to create multiple portfolio pages. I created a new portfolio page, but when I try to chose <label class=”rf_mbx_left” for=”rf_portfolio_items_from”>Display Portfolio Posts From:</label> Custom Categories, and pick the ones that specific for this page, nothing shows up when I view the page. It appears to be a white blank page, but if you hover over it, it is linking to our correct items. If I show all categories, everything shows. Is this a bug? I couldn’t find anything in the knowledge base or forum. Please advise.
Also, is it possible to link the “skills” to all the associated portfolio skills entries? Like tagging. It doesn’t seem to be doing that like “Categories” on the portfolio item. The Categories items are clickable but the skills are not . Thank you.1 year, 10 months ago Nick (SS Expert)Keymaster
1. Please make sure that you don’t have empty categories, check this kb article about this issue
2. Unfortunately, this is not possible.

Hi Nick, We do not have any empty categories. I saw that article, so only chose the categories that had elements assigned. Could this be a bug? If I use the, Royal Portfolio element in the WP Bakery Page Builder, I can manually do it there, but if I change the name of the categories I’ll have to remember to go back in and change it. Do you know why it’s not working on the Portfolio template?
Another question, does the theme Hyper-X have a built in search feature? or do we need to find a 3rd party plug-in that will search the Categories? I am building our Portfolio with all the Categories acting like tags since the “Skills” feature does not allow it to be clickable.
Thank you for getting back to us.1 year, 10 months ago DukeKeymaster

I have the same issue.
What is the solution?

I have a similar issue. When I view a page that uses the Portfolio Template, it appears to be a white blank page. If you hover over the page, the correct portfolio thumbnails are there (and function correctly) but they are just not visible.
I built my site with the Kailee template and it worked fine. I had to switch to a top menu template (Athena) and now the pages that use the Portfolio Template have this issue.
Using a Royal Portfolio element embedded in a Default Template page works fine. I think the issue may be with using a top menu template.9 months, 3 weeks ago jdParticipant
Hi Araitz, did you ever figure this out? I’m stumped.9 months, 3 weeks ago Nick (SS Expert)Keymaster

Hey AM_Creative. Did you ever fix the issue with the white blank pages on a Portfolio Template page with a custom category? I have the exact same issue. I’ve given up on the developer ever responding. Maybe we can help each other?!8 months, 2 weeks ago WprsupportKeymaster
