Hi
I want to change the portfolio slug
<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-size: 14px;”>from; mywebpage.com/portfolio/<strong style=”box-sizing: border-box;”>items/</p>
<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-size: 14px;”>to; mywebpage.com/sessions/</p>
I did this:<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-size: 14px;”>Hi,</p>
<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-size: 14px;”>Navigate to Plugins > Editor > change to “Royal Core” plugin and edit the “royal-core.php” file. Search for ‘portfolio/items’ and replace it with ‘portfolio’ or ‘portfolios’, the second one -> ‘portfolios’ is preferred, because if you change the default with ‘portfolio’ then your Portfolio Page slug should be different. I mean, portfolio single item URL can’t be the same as portfolio page slug. Hope this makes sense.</p>
<p style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-size: 14px;”>Regards</p>After doing so, it changed the slug of all the elements of the portfolio, but when you click on them you do not find the page (error 404). However if I write the old portfolio / items path if the page appears
You can help me?
Hi @korvo,
Can you please describe your issue more detailed? Can you please share the screenshot of the issue or a link where the issue exists?
Screenshots will be much appreciated.
Kind Regards
Hi Wprsupport, thanks for replying.
I want to change the slug that comes out in the portfolio items, so as I read in this forum, I go to plugins> editor> select Royal Core and modify that parameter with what I want
done this, i go to the portfolio items and check that the slug has changed as i wanted
but when I click on the link to see the page, nothing appears, give me error 404
instead, without touching anything again, if I write the old address, with “portfolio / items” it does load the page. Although as you can see in the second image, in the wordpress editor is the updated address with “sesionesfotografia”
how can i modify this slug of the portfolio items?
Thank you very much!
