Sometimes on some hosting providers you may have an issue with importing Demo content. When you press import demo button and wait for a few seconds/minutes (depends on hosting speed) its says Import Successfully – but nothing is imported.
What we need to do to fix this?
In most case its a hosting related issue, but before we contact hosting, we can try to deactivate/disable all plugins except Royal Core, after that try to import Demo Content again, if it doesn’t help, you need to contact your Hosting/Server provider and ask them to increase php memory limit on your site, we recommend minimum 256 MB of Php memory limit. Once they will do it everything will be fine and then you will be able to import demo :).
Finally don’t forget to enable theme related plugins if you disabled them.
If this way does not helps check with your hosting provider if the following hosting configuration parameters are set like in the list below:
- max_execution_time 180
- memory_limit 256M
- post_max_size 64M
- max_input_time 60
If not ask them to change this configurations settings and then all be fine.
