Set focus to search field when clicking the search symbol

When clicking the search symbol in Main Navigation, the search field opens and displays “Type & hit Enter”. But the user cannot type text unless he first clicks into the search field to set the browser’s focus to the search field.

I suggest that the browser’s focus is set to the search field automatically as soon as the user clicks the search symbol. Have a look at http://dl.tgt.at/ashe7.png
