I’m using the plugin Custom Post Type UI in order to create a new custom post type called
my_thesis. Now I would want to have a separate archive page for this custom post type. In many articles as this one, I’m advice to create a copy of the file
archive.phpwith a name that contains my new post type, as I understand correctly it should be
The problem is that: within Ashe Pro Premium such file
archive.phpdoesn’t exist. What I need to do in order to have a separate archive page for my custom post type?October 8, 2019 at 8:01 pm #38440

Also the article WP : Theme Handbook : Template Hierarchy was useful.October 9, 2019 at 4:33 pm #38470
Creating separate files for your Custom Post Type requires solid knowledge of PHP and WordPress, it’s a custom coding task and we can’t help you with that.
And BTW have you tried changing your name for your account?

Hello, @duke, I didn’t have time these days, but finally I’ve created a manual How to integrate Custom Post Types with Ashe Pro. Please take a look at the point 3, probably it will be possible to add support for custom post types in the further versions of the theme.
BTW, I can’t see an appropriate field for account name within the account details section. There are only first name, last name and email fields.

At first, thanks for your effort. You are very welcome! We will add CPT support in case there will be a demand from the customers.
Finally, I figured out how to change a nickname, click on your profile picture here, then navigate to the “Edit” tab and you will see a Nickname field.
P.S. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks, @duke. I’ve successfully changed my display name. In addition, the mentioned customization of my Ashe setup works like a charm for now.
