We’ve fixed both issues in the latest version. After you update the theme, you can remove extra CSS from the Customizer.

I have this issue with the drop caps, although using the plugin WP Dark Mode, even on the main blog page the drop caps stay black. have you found the fix for this?

The screenshots are attached. Basically it’s the WP Dark Mode plugin that doesn’t change the colours of the drop caps, I know your dark mode does, but we also have our header logo change at night/darkmode. Let me know if I need to take this issue up with the plugin developer.

Actually, the reason for the issue was the plugin you are using as the dark mode switcher.
We added a custom CSS snippet to fix the issue, please check and let us know if it works for you too. Our theme has its own built-in dark mode button, please try to use it: https://nimb.ws/cWrVkj
