    Hello,

    I am having issues with my featured blog post images (on my homepage) look blurry, but when you click on the post itself, the images seem to show up just fine. I am hoping there is a way for me to fix the homepage images. Also, is there a way to make those images horizontal instead of vertical? I notice that if I change the Page Layouts under Blog Page to 1 column / right sidebar instead of the 2 column / right sidebar that it’s set at now, the images become horizontal and become clear, but they are also HUGE. This is what I’m looking to achieve: https://wp-royal.com/themes/ashe-pro/color-colorful/?ref=demo-ashe-pro-predefined-styles-grid

    This is my website for reference of what’s happening now: http://www.wildvibeswellness.com

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Danielle,

    To fix the issue you are experiencing with the images, you need to rebuild your thumbnails, please watch the video guide below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cfEaNKIH6E

    Please let us know if it worked for you.

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I should’ve mentioned that I already rebuilt the thumbnail settings and what I currently have on my site is the result. I used the exact directions in the video, which may be part of my problem…? Again, I’m looking to achieve this look on the blog page: <span style=”color: #4f4f4f; font-family: Poppins, Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: #fbfbfb;”> </span>https://wp-royal.com/themes/ashe-pro/color-colorful/?ref=demo-ashe-pro-predefined-styles-grid

    Any tips as to which thumbnails I need to change and to what size to achieve the above look when I go to rebuild again?

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

    Thanks so much for doing this. I love the layout, but the picture quality isn’t great, especially in the left photo. What can I do to remedy this — is it something on my end? The photo is clear when I upload it, so I’m not sure what’s happening when it gets resized.

    Also, how can I change the font size of the first capital letters in each blog post to the same size that you see when you’re in the actual blog post? Take the “M” for reference in the photos above that I uploaded. I want the size to be cohesive throughout, and would prefer the size in photo #2 vs. photo #3.

    Lastly, do you notice the odd spacing that occurs between words in the excerpts from each post, especially the one on the left? What is the reasoning for this, and can it be fixed too? It might be easier to see on my site: http://www.wildvibeswellness.com

    Thanks again!

    Hi Danielle,

    1. Actually we can’t see on our end the blurry images on the blog posts, please share the screenshot on your end.

    2.  To disable the drop cups on the blog page, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Blog page > Post Elements and uncheck the option “Show Drop Caps”

    To disable them in the single post, Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Single Post > Post Elements and uncheck the option “Show Drop Caps”

    3.  Space appears because the text is justified on the blog page, it means that the text will fill up the whole div, to this the text cant be stretched and it contains the space between the words. If you prefer left-aligned text, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Aditional CSS and following snippet:

    .post-content > p {

    text-align: left;

    }

    Kind Regards

    Thank you for the custom CSS, that helped with that issue.

    I’m still seeing distorted images on both the blog homepage and when you click on each actual post.

    You can really see the photo distortion in this photo:https://wildvibeswellness.com/2020/02/01/10-ways-to-move-more-daily/

    and again, you can still see distortion on the same photo shown on the blog homepage shown here:http://wildvibeswellness.com/

    Lastly, I do not want to remove the drop caps option. I want the size to be the same page on both the blog homepage as well as when you open each post. Right now, they’re showing up two different sizes, as you can see in the photos I attached above for you already.

    I apologize if I’m not explaining this right — I really appreciate the help, though!

    Hi Danielle,

    We added some custom CSS snippets to make drop cups same look on the blog and single post pages, for the image issues we will redirect this topic to the developers and they will check.

    Kind Regards
